i totally understand that but some people really cant afford the 80 dollar a month contract with at&t.
the point is we shouldnt pay anything for new features. if there is some strange licensing agreement with google, fine, but there are som other features that just shouldnt be charged for... like the notes and those other apps..

Syncing Mail Accounts -> Hanging
Upgrade went fine, but when I sync it hangs on syncing mail accounts? It doesn't even seem to progress. (Computer operates as normal, so does iTunes 8.02)
If I turn syncing mail accounts off, everything else syncs as normal.
Any ideas?

One little bug I see they didn't fix. Before on the lock screen it wouldn't show AM/PM if you had 24 hour clock turned off. Like this...
I was able to go into the settings and turn 24 hour on, restart the phone, go back in and turn 24 hour time off and then I would see AM or PM next to the time on that screen. I would have to repeat the process if I ever restarted the phone (which has been fairly frequent). However now that little trick doesn't seem to work at all and it no longer will show AM/PM on that screen. Not a huge deal, but I kinda like seeing AM/PM.

lol i think they are counting on people being able to know am/pm
so how do they determine walking mode vs car mode? i mean it will reroute itself which is good just how does it know?
